青森県下北郡大間町～to Puのあいだで　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Oma Town, Shimokita District, Aomori Prefecture　 ～　between to Pu

 

   国策、核燃サイクルの一つ、世界でも造られたことないフルMOX燃料で発電する原子力発電所の予定地となっている下北半島大間町。
  その原発予定地の炉心予定地から300ｍの所に反対されているご家族の土地があり、そこを何年間か撮りに行っていた。その時、大間の町も撮りました。

※MOX燃料 とは
　　　再処理工場で使用済み核燃料からプルトニウムを取り出し、ウランと混合した燃料。現在はMOX燃料　　　　　　とウラン燃料と併用した核燃料が利用されたりしている。（福島第一原発で爆発した３号機はMOX燃料が一部使用されていた）
　　　フルＭＯＸ燃料での発電というのは、ウラン燃料併用なくこのMOX燃料だけで発電するもの。
そもそも再処理工場は、原子爆弾の材料を造るための施設で、再処理を稼働すると、原発を稼働するよりももっと高濃度の放射性廃棄物が出る。

*What is MOX fuel?
A fuel in which plutonium was taken from spent nuclear fuel at a reprocessing plant and mixed with uranium. Currently, nuclear fuel, which is a mixture of MOX fuel and uranium fuel, is used in some nuclear power plants.(MOX fuel was partially used in Unit 3 that exploded at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant)
Power generation with full MOX fuel means power generation only with this MOX fuel without using uranium fuel together.
In the first place, a reprocessing plant is a facility for producing materials for atomic bombs, and when the reprocessing is operated, it produces a higher concentration of radioactive waste than when the nuclear power plants are operated.
